The Musketeers will compete against a diverse field from around Ohio.

CINCINNATI - The Xavier track and field team will be staying in Cincinnati this weekend to compete in the All-Ohio Championships at UC. The meet consists of teams from all across Ohio and is open for schools from Division I, Division II and NAIA. The Musketeers will be facing multiple Division I schools including Akron, Kent State, Miami (OH), Dayton, Ohio State and others.
Tom Ohlman will again be running in the 1500m, while Matt Orlando will be participating in the 800m for the second week in a row. Aaron Peterson is scheduled to run the 3000m Steeplechase and the men's 4x100m relay team is set with team members Matthew Bryant, Dimitrious Dimitroff, Josh Phelan and Russell Platt.
Mercedes Oliver will continue her successful outdoor season by again fighting for first in three events; the shot put, discus and hammer throw. There will be multiple members of the women's team running the 800m. Participants scheduled to run are Susannah Shelley, Madison Riethman, Emily Staresinic and Haley Jerabek. Caterina Karas is set to race in the 3000m Steeplechase for the second time in her career.
The women's 4x100m relay team includes Victoria Chiller, Kristine Johnston, Monica Mannings and Brenna McGrath, while the women's 4x400m relay team is set with team members Chiller, Shelley, Jerabek and McGrath.
The All-Ohio Championships events begin tomorrow afternoon, Friday, April 11 at 3:00 p.m., and continue Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. All events will take place at the Gettler Stadium on UC's campus.
