CINCINNATI- The Xavier men's and women's track and field squads are headed up to Oxford to participate in the 25th annual Miami Invitational. There will be 18 schools in attendance from Division I and II and NAIA levels. Xavier is breaking records this seaon and is looking to continue the hot streak.

The men's team has several athletes who are in the top of the Atlantic 10 standings. Nick Williams is currently third in the 100-meter dash and is one one-hundredth of a second behind Charlotte's Darius Law in the 200-meter dash. Tommy Kauffmann is sitting comfortably in first place in the 5,000-meters with his nearest competitior 11 seconds behind his top time. Derek LeBlanc is in third in the long jump.

On the women's side, Caitlin Thomas is ranked fourth in the A10 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Freshman Kristen Bennett is fourth in the long jump.

Ticketts are $5 for adults and $3 for youth and programs will be available for $2. Action will be held at the George Rider Track on Miami's campus. Stay tuned to for more information.
