The Musketeers will battle teams from both Ohio and Indiana in Oxford this weekend.

CINCINNATI - The Xavier track and field teams are trekking an hour north this weekend for the Miami Invitational at Miami (OH) University in Oxford, Ohio. The team will face schools from both Ohio and Indiana, including BIG EAST rival Butler. This marks one of the last meets before the team travels west to compete.
Matthew Bryant, Russell Platt, Dimitrious Dimitroff and Josh Phelan will all be apart of the men's 4x100m realy team. Platt and Dimitroff will both run in the 100m, with Dimitroff also comepeting in the 200m.
Abby Fischer, Clare Fischer, Audrey Ramos, Jessica Albers, Anna Ahlrichs and Sarah Mazzei will all participate in the 5000m invitational section on Friday night. Brenna McGrath, Victoria Chiller and Christine Lucas are competing in both the 400m and 200m.
In the field events for the women's team, Mercedes Oliver will challenge in the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw for the second week in a row, while Onya Edwards will battle for first in the long jump and triple jump.
The invitational begins this Friday, April 4th at 4 p.m. at Miami(OH) University in Oxford, Ohio, and continue through Saturday, April 5th, which is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start time.
