CINCINNATI - Mercedes Oliver, Tom Ohlman and John Kolibab picked up three of the BIG EAST's weekly track and field awards following their performances at the Butler Invitational last weekend.

Oliver grabbed the BIG EAST Women's Field Athlete of the Week accolade after making a strong indoor competition to outdoor when she set a new personal best of 13.08 meters in the shot put.

Ohlman and Kolibab led a Xavier sweep of the men's awards. Ohlman was named BIG EAST Men's Track Athlete of the Week following his fourth-place at the Butler Invitational in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:26.72. The men's field athlete of the week honor went to Kolibab, who hit a personal best and set the Musketeer record with a winning height of 2.01 meters in the high jump.

Xavier is in action this weekend at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by Cincinnati.
