CINCINNATI - The Xavier indoor track and field team's final chance to compete before the conference championship comes this weekend at the Hoosier Hills Invitational held at the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse on the campus of Indiana University.

It will be the third time the Musketeers visit the six-lane, 200-meter banked track in Bloomington, Ind. this season. Xavier competed in the Gladstein Invitational and Indiana Relays on back-to-back weekends in January and set four new school records.

Sophomore Ashley Vincent set a then school record in the women's 3-kilometer run and sophomore Adi Taraska tossed three-straight school marks in the women's weight throw at the Gladstein Invitational. Senior Nick Williams also set a new record in the men's 60-meter dash.

At the Indiana Relays junior Rachel Clark broke the record in the women's 800-meter dash. She bested that mark last weekend at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.

Last weekend's meet featured a handful of Musketeers who were able to compete at one of the premier indoor meets of the year. In addition to Clark setting a new record, senior Caylin Howell broke Vincent's mark in the 3k and also ran in the distance medley relay which blew away the old school record by 12 seconds. Vincent later smashed the old school best in 5-kilometer run.

This is the final meet of the season for the Musketeers who will travel to Kingston, R.I. next weekend for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championship.
