BLOOMINGTON, IND. - Xavier Track and Field Participated at Indiana in the Hoosier Hills Invitational where the Musketeers ran well in the distance events and had several athletes set personal records.

Four members of the men's set personal records, including Grant Parrelli who ran in the 600m finishing with a time of 1:23.79, missing out on the school record by 0.04 seconds. Connor Buchholz, Corey Zielinski and Aaron Peterson also set personal records, all in the mile. Buchholz placed eighth with a time of 4:18.89, Zielinski finished tenth with a time of 4:19.98 and Peterson crossed thirteenth with time of 4:29.04.

The women's highlights also consisted of five personal records. In the track events, Sydney Larkin placed eighth in the 400 with a time of 59.50 while Anna Ahlrichs ran the mile and finished tenth with a time of 5:04.28. Susannah Shelley and Haley Jerabek both ran the 800m. Shelley took third with a time of 2:16.39 and Jerabeck crossed right behind her in fourth with a time of 2:17.58. On the field side, Mercedes Oliver threw a distance of 13.21m in the shot put taking tenth.

The team travels to New York City next weekend for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships. The championships start on Friday, Feb. 21 and continue Saturday, Feb. 22.
