INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Xavier track and field traveled to the University of Indianapolis this past weekend to participate in the UIndy Relays. The team had a very successful day overall, breaking three school records and setting 15 personal records.

The men's team had several highlights including the distance medley relay team of Grant Parrelli, Ryan Konstanzer, Connor Buchholz and Corey Zielinski setting a new school record with a time of 10:14 and taking fifth.

Tom Ohlman finished third in the 5K and set a new personal record with a time of 14:28. Others that added to the team's success were John Kolibab in the high jump (3rd, 1.93m) and Russell Platt in the 60m (3rd, 7.14).

The women's side also experienced several accomplishments, with multiple wins, school records and personal records. Adrija Taraska and Onya Edwards both set school records. Taraska finished eleventh in the weight throw with a toss of 12.55m and Edwards finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 11.20m.

Audrey Ramos and Anna Ahlrichs took the top two spots in the 3K both setting personal records. Ramos won the event with a time of 10:06.76 and Ahlrichs crossed right behind her in second with a time of 10:15.58.

The achievements continued with Madison Riethman and Susannah Shelley both winning their events. Riethman won the 600m with a time of 1:41.35 and Shelley took the 800m with a time of 2:19.53. Clare Fischer added to the weekend's success by placing second in the 5K with a time of 17:28.66.

The Xavier track and field team head back to Bloomington for a third time this season as they take part in Hoosier Hills Invitational at Indiana. The meet is scheduled for next Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15.
