Mikaela Raddatz is in her fourth year at Xavier after joining the Musketeer coaching staff in June 2008. Raddatz, who was a four-year letter winner at the University of Colorado, will primarily be responsible for the development of the XU sprinters, hurdlers and field events.
During her stint with the Musketeers, Raddatz has coached five Top 3 and 14 Top 5 Atlantic 10 finishers. She has also helped the team break 38 school records during her three first years.
Raddatz served as a youth track & field coach for the Eastview Athletic Association in Apple Valley, Minn. From 1999-2004. While at Eastview, Raddatz researched effective training strategies, created practice schedules and scheduled athletes in respective meets.
While a student-athlete at Colorado, Raddatz was named to the Big 12 All-Conference Team in 2006 in addition to All-Conference academic honors and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll several times during her career.
A 2007 graduate from Colorado, Raddatz earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. She earned her master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Xavier in May 2010 and is now working toward a PhD in measurement and evaluation from the University of Kentucky.
Raddatz currently lives in Northern Kentucky.
