Xavier Swimming Completes Class of 2013

Xavier head swimming coach Brent MacDonald has announced the final 10 swimmers set to become Musketeers in the fall. Taylor Jach, Mikaela Saugstad, Sarah Stone and Emily Wagner will join the women's squad and Erik Biernat, Eric Futscher, Kuroshe Mahak, Matt Nephew, Arthur Smith and Nicholas Strader will swim for the men's team.

Xavier University Joins The New Big East

Xavier University President Michael J. Graham, S.J., announced today that Xavier is joining a 10-team conference with fellow private schools Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, St. John's, Seton Hall, and Villanova. The conference will be officially named the Big East on July 1.

Shields, Conchuratt Earn A-10 Academic All-Conference Nods

Xavier swimmers Courtney Shields and Sam Conchuratt were both named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference teams on Thursday. Shields and Conchuratt garnered the accolades due to both their performance in the pool and in the classroom.

Xavier Swimming Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar Accolades

The Xavier University men's and women's swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the fall semester. This marks the fourth-straight year that both teams have earned the distinction.
