CINCINNATI - For the second week in a row, the Xavier University swim team will compete in back-to-back events on Friday and Saturday. XU will meet up against Cincinnati at 5 p.m. on Friday night and then head to Oxford, Ohio, for a 2 p.m. meet with Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.

This is the second-straight weekend in which the Musketeers will hold two meets, as the team squared off against Louisville last Friday and Cumberlands on Saturday.

The men's squad has received significant contributions in the early going from several upper classman and a few freshman. Senior Chad Thompson, jumior Armando Moss and sophomore Luke Johanns have started the season strong, while freshman Rodrigo Suriano and Nick Strader have also picked up some wins in the early going.

Juniors Carolyn Stewart, Maddie Day and Jacquelyn Misanik lead a young group of women's swimmers. Sophomore Mackenna Rife continues to be a force in the distance events for the Musketeers.
