CINCINNATI -- The Xavier men's and women's swim teams have been named 2012 Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The CSCAA All-America award is given to collegiate swim teams in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

The XU men were ranked No. 17 in the CSCAA All-America list with a 3.26 team GPA while the Musketeer women posted a 3.3 team GPA to earn All-America honors.

Michael Zennedjian and Courtney Shields have been named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference Team following the 2012 season.
