Xavier Swimming Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar Accolades

CINCINNATI - The Xavier University men's and women's swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the fall semester. This marks the fourth-straight year that both teams have earned the distinction.

With a combined 3.38 team GPA, the men's swim team is tied with Dartmouth for the third-highest in the country, trailing only Yale (3.57) and Harvard (3.48). The women's team posted the 42nd-highest GPA, matching Vanderbilt, Clemson, Purdue and Utah with a 3.34.

Xavier had the top GPA in the Atlantic 10 among men's teams and second-best among the women's squads.
