Natalie Hyde will make an appearance for Xavier in the B finals of the 100 breast.

GENEVA, Ohio - Xavier continued to have success at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday morning, with 16 Musketeers qualifying for Friday night's finals.
In the women's 400 IM, Mackenna Rife (4:31.96) and Natalie Hyde (4:34.79) both qualified for the consolation finals. Chad Thompson (3:59.32) qualified for the main event and Nick Foster (4:05.65) reached the B finals on the men's side.
Sam Conchuratt set a new Xavier team record in the prelims of the 100 fly, posting a time of 48.57 to reach the A finals. Knox Hitt qualified sixth and Pablo Morejon touched seventh to join Conchuratt in the main event.
Xavier placed two Musketeers in tonight's finals of the men's 200 free. Eric Dirvin earned a spot in the A finals with a time of 1:40.03 and Will Oswald posted a time of 1:40.38 to reach the B finals.
Natalie Hyde (1:05.74) and Haley Dresner (1:05.84) finished 14th and 15th, respectively, to earn spots in the B finals of the 100 breast. The men's team placed three swimmers in the B finals tonight, Michael Gordon (56.97), Rick Stewart (57.58) and Carter Clark (57.88).
Carolyn Stewart (57.06) was a mere one one-hundredth of a second away from the A final in the 100 back. She will be joined in the B final by Jacquelyn Misanik (57.98). Kristen Liebert (58.83) is the first alternate should one of the top 16 swimmers scratch.
Finals will are slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
