Freshman Carolyn Stewart won the 100 yard backstroke at Wright State

CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's swim team will have one last meet before the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championships as the Ohio Bobcats come to O'Connor Sports Center for a 5 p.m. match-up. This will be a rematch from last season when Ohio came to O'Connor and claimed a 118-78 victory.

Last weekend the freshmen trio of Carolyn Stewart, Jacquelyn Misanik and Samantha Sloand all had strong finishes with Stewart and Sloand claiming first place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke and 200 yard backstroke respectively. Senior Mary Podlaski won the 400 yard IM. The women fell to Wright State 146-116.

The Bobcats have won of five of their dual matches in 2012, including claiming back-to-back victories over West Virginia (178.5-119.5) and Ball State (189-106) last weekend. The only loss Ohio has this season is to Ohio State back on Nov. 5, 163.5-131.5.

Fans are encouraged to come out to O'Connor Sports Center and support the Musketeers.
