CINCINNATI - The Xavier swim team will be back in action closer to home as it travels up to Wright State for a meet Saturday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. Several Musketeers are looking to continue the strong performances they have had since the annual training trip.

These two squads faced each other head to head last season with the Raiders visiting O'Connnor Sports Center. The men defeated WSU 124-79, while the women fell 142.5-58.5.

Last weekend, the Musketeers were at IUPUI and at the Butler Invitational. For his performance, freshman Kiernan McGeehan was named A-10 Rookie of the Week. The Carmel, Ind., native had several first-place finishes. On the women's side, Courtney Cox continued to excel in the distance races, placing first in two races at Butler.
