XU Swim Teams Headed to Duquesne for A-10 Dual Meet

The Musketeers Went 1-1 Against the Dukes at CSU

CINCINNATI - The Xavier men's and women's swim teams will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. this Saturday, Jan. 19, for a head-to-head swim meet with Atlantic 10 foe Duquesne. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Towers Pool.

The Musketeers and Dukes competed last weekend at the Cleveland State quad meet as the XU men defeated the DU men, 136-60, and the XU women fell to their DU counterparts by a narrow 18 point margin, 111-93. This will be the last contest against a conference opponent before the A-10 Championship, Feb. 20-23.

Xavier's men's squad also defeated Canisius (159.50-69.50) while falling to the host Vikings (175-48) in last weekend's outing at Cleveland State. XU women's team downed Canisius (181-33) and CSU (170.50-42.50).
