CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's swimming team won its second meet in as many days, taking down Butler, 74-52, at the O'Conner Sports Center on Saturday afternoon. The Musketeers defeated Tiffin on Friday.

XU's 200 medley relay started the meet with a narrow victory. Jacquelyn Misanik, Haley Dresner, Lynn Brotherton and Carly Davis won by a scant four-tenths of a second.

Molly Kroeger and Mikaela Saugsted continued the strong start by winning the 2x500 free relay. The two women teamed for a time of 10:41.98. After winning the 1000 free on Friday, Taylor Jach took the 200 free against the Bulldogs.

Misanik, Carolyn Stewart and Kristen Liebert teamed together to bring home a victory in the 3x50 backstroke relay, and Dresner, Maddie Day and Hanna Martin followed with a first-place in the 3x50 breaststroke relay.

Xavier then received first-place efforts by Sarah Stone (200 fly), Claire Brolsma (50 free), Jach (100 free), Stewart (200 back) and Martin (200 breast).

Day, Kroeger, Heidi Turner and Mackenna Rife teamed to outswim the field in the 500 free relay. The final victory of the day for XU came from Kelsie Johns, Stone and Olivia Wilkes in the 3x50 buttlerfly relay.

Xavier will be back in action Nov. 22-24 at the Cleveland State Invitational, held in Cleveland, Ohio.
