Tim Williams is entering his second season as assistant swimming coach at Xavier University. Williams previously served as the head coach for the Cincinnati Marlins club team for two seasons. Williams was a four-year letter winner at Penn State where he was a three-time NCAA meet qualifier and is a team record-holder. As a collegiate athlete he qualified for over 10 USA national meets and was a 2008 Olympic trial qualifier. He was also named a two-time Big Ten Swimmer of the Week and a one-time NCAA National Swimmer of the Week.

Williams holds a degree in integrated arts from Penn State with a focus on architecture and graphic design. He is currently pursuing an MBA. Williams is a native of Cincinnati and attended Elder High School.
