Xavier will travel to Florida for its annual winter training trip before starting the season again on Jan. 13 2011-12 Competed in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 50, 100 and 200 backstroke, 200 individual medley and swam legs of the 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relay squads ... touched seventh overall in the 100 back and eighth overall in the 200 back at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship ... also competed in the 200 IM at the championship ... set a program top-five time in the 100 (56.93) and 200 (2:03.05) back and a top-15 time in the 200 IM (2:11.96) ... earned the Athletic Director's Award for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.25-3.49. Prior to Xavier Five-year letter winner at Gastonia Day School ... four-time state champion in the 100 yard backstroke ... four-time state runner-up in the 100 butterfly ... presidential scholarship recipient.
