Ransom is entering his third season overall and second as a full-time assistant coach with the Musketeers.
Prior to Xavier, Ransom served as head coach for the renowned Cincinnati Marlins club teams where he was responsible for implementing several new training techniques and created the Cincinnati Marlins Club Express Program. This program was developed in order to advance the skills of younger swimmers and attract them to participate in year-round swimming with the club team. Ransom also served as a coach for the Greater Toledo Aquatic Club from 1998-2002.
A standout swimmer in his own right, Ransom swam for the University of Toledo from 1995-1999. He holds ASCA Level 4 certification and has coached over 10 Junior National qualifiers.
