Two separate accidents. One common determination to return to the sport they love. Kelsie Johns and John Kinney were both involved in accidents during the summer of 2012. This story details their determination to return to the pool for the Musketeers in the Atlantic 10 Championships. Written and produced for Xavier Athletics by junior Kristen Gallagher. 2011-12 Competed in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke and as a member of the 200 and 400 free relays ... established a Xavier top 10 time in the 50 free (21.30) and 100 back (52.66) and also helped to break his own school record time in the 200 free relay (1:22.17) ... won bronze swimming the lead off leg of the 200 free relay at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship ... also competed in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 back at the championship ... was named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll following the fall semester.
