 Xavier University Joins The New Big East Xavier University President Michael J. Graham, S.J., announced today that Xavier is joining a 10-team conference with fellow private schools Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, St. John's, Seton Hall, and Villanova. The conference will be officially named the Big East on July 1. (more) Xavier Well Represented On Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll The Atlantic 10 Conference set a record Wednesday, with 1,369 student-athletes earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Spring 2012 semester. Xavier was well represented with 83 Musketeers being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
