Xavier's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) represents the leadership body of student-athletes on campus.  SAAC's mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunities, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image.  SAAC operates like a traditional student organization on campus with some members holding executive roles.  Each of Xavier's 18 teams has at least two representatives and SAAC is overseen by a staff advisor.  SAAC is responsible for social events, community service programs, Atlantic 10 Conference initiatives, policy development, fundraising programs, and more.  SAAC partners with Xavier's Student Government Association and Student Activities Committee for important campus initiatives and events.
