Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why is this club needed?
A: To address rising costs associated with a first-class program. Contributions allow Xavier to compete at higher levels in every sport. Benefits: better, safer travel; part-time coaches become full-time; added resources to attract and retain student-athletes.

Q: Do donations for the purpose of purchasing men's basketball tickets make me a club member?
A: Yes, at the booster level. Be aware that donations for seats or suites service Cintas Center construction debt. Donor benefits include the right to purchase preferred seats for men's basketball games. Contributions to the All for One Club are separate and not required for the purchase of season tickets.

Q: How do those who donate directly to the All for One Club benefit?
A: They are recognized by the department of athletics and director for athletics for making a contribution over and above what they already donate to Xavier University. Special opportunities tied to Xavier athletics have been developed strictly and exclusively for All for One Club members, including access to special events and personnel.

Q: Will I be invited to All for One events if I decide not to join?
A: Yes and no. Only All for One Club contributing members will be invited to exclusive All for One Club events. Non-contributors will be invited to certain other events, including golf outings and dinners.

Q: Can gifts be restricted to a specific sport?
A: Any gift to athletics is appreciated, but an annual gift with no restrictions is preferred because it can be allocated to the greatest need.

Q: Are contributions tax deductible?
A: Yes. Any gift to Xavier University is tax deductible.

Q: What's the difference between the All for One Club and the old AFO fund?
A: The All for One Club is a new program specifically designed to raise annual fund dollars for the department of athletics. The program is a result of combining the old AFO fund with other efforts. The All for One name was adopted to celebrate the past giving program.

Q: If I give to the All for One Club, will I still be solicited for the annual fund and other Xavier needs?
A: Yes. The All for One Club program is not designed to and cannot replace current annual fund and capital giving activity. The annual fund provides vital resources for the operating budget of the entire University, while capital programs make possible the successful completion of special projects throughout campus. For more information on joining the All for One Club, contact Dan Cloran, director for athletic giving at Xavier University, at 513.745.1031.
