Colin Waters is beginning his first year as the sports information assistant, website manager and video coordinator at Xavier University. He will serve as the primary contact for men's soccer and assist with various other sports.

Before joining the Xavier staff, Waters spent one year as the media relations assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAB he served as the primary contact for softball, women's cross country, and women's track and field. He also functioned as the secondary contact for the men's basketball team, while assisting with football.

Prior to his time at UAB, Waters was the sports information director at Baker University. He graduated from Baker University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in communications. During his time at Baker, Waters was the sports director of the student radio station and the sports editor for the award-winning student newspaper.

A Denver native, Waters graduated from Englewood High School in 2002. He is a member of College Sports Information Directors of America and resides in Cincinnati.
