Patrick Dillon was promoted to director of marketing in June of 2015 after serving as the assistant director of marketing in 2014. His responsibilities include the marketing and advertising of the women's basketball program, coordinating game presentation for men's and women's basketball, managing e-marketing communications, supervision of the X-treme Fans student fan group and administering the marketing department's internship program.
Dillon came to Xavier in August of 2013 as ticket manager where his role included providing customer service, managing day-to-day box office operations and developing ticket sales strategies.
Prior to Xavier, Dillon was a full-time intern at the Georgetown University Athletic Ticket Office. During his time there, Georgetown implemented digital ticketing, dynamic pricing and set a single-season revenue record for men's basketball ticket sales.
Dillon earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Marist College in 2012 before earning a master's degree in sport industry management from Georgetown University in 2013. He is currently pursuing a master of business administration degree from the Williams College of Business at Xavier. Dillon is originally from northern New Jersey.
