Fans in Hawaii were treated to a special event hosted by Xavier's All For One club. Athletic Director Mike Bobinski joined fans and supporters to talk about the State of Xavier Athletics.
Becky Jackson is entering her fifth year at Xavier in a full-time role for the athletic department. In January 2011, Jackson was named the director of athletic development, and is responsible for the comprehensive program of private support for Xavier University's 18-sport intercollegiate athletic programs. She is responsible for the design, management, and implementation of programs that broaden the base and grow annual philanthropic support from Xavier alumni, parents and friends with an emphasis on growing annual giving for the All For One Fund. She currently serves as the administrator for the volleyball team.
Prior to being named to her current position, Jackson was the assistant director of marketing for the athletic department for three years, working closely with marketing of the women's basketball program.
Prior to coming to Xavier, Jackson worked at the Oasis Golf Club and Conference Center in Loveland, Ohio. Jackson was the administrative assistant at Oasis from October 2003 through December 2006 while she worked toward her master's degree at Xavier and she assisted with men's basketball game day operations during the 2006-07 season at Xavier. Jackson was promoted to assistant general manager at the Oasis in January of 2007.
Jackson is a 2003 graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and received a master of education degree with an emphasis in sports administration from Xavier University in December 2006. She currently resides in Milford, Ohio and is a Cincinnati native.
