Mike Dunn, now in his 15th year at Xavier University, was promoted on January 1, 2009 to director of Cintas Center. Dunn's primary charge is to manage the staff and resources necessary to uphold the excellent service and reputation of the Schiff Family Conference Center, the James and Caroline Duff Banquet Rooms and Cintas Center's arena, while growing the overall business.
Prior to his promotion, Dunn served as associate athletic director for marketing. Dunn oversaw the corporate partner program, Cintas Center suites, television and radio contracts, as well as the premium seat, season and group ticket sales, and game operations for the six target priority sports.
Before coming to Xavier, Dunn spent two years as marketing and promotions coordinator at Towson University. Dunn was also a Xavier marketing and promotions department intern in 1995 and an intern with the Canton-Akron Indians minor league baseball club in 1993.
The 41-year-old received his bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Dayton in 1994 and a master's degree in physical education (athletic administration) from Ohio University in 1996. Mike and his wife, Anne, reside in Cincinnati with their son James, and daughters Katie and Emily.
