All for One Club Enjoys Record Year at 2005 Golf Outing
Sept. 15, 2005 On Monday, August 29, the ALL FOR ONE Club held its 2nd annual Golf Classic at Kenwood Country Club. With generous sponsor support from Horan Associates (Title Sponsor), Skyline Chili, 700 WLW and over 30 other community minded partners, the outing raised over $55,000 for the Xavier University Athletic Department. This was a record year as over 340 golfers enjoyed a great day of golf at one of Cincinnati's premier Private golf clubs. In addition to a great day of golf, participants enjoyed great food, drinks and the opportunity to get a first hand preview of the upcoming Men's Basketball season from Head Basketball Coach Sean Miller. The excitement continued as seven lucky winners were chosen in the first ever ALL FOR ONE Cash raffle. This year, we sold over 1100 tickets and awarded over $35,000 in prize money. The committee plans to continue this raffle for next year and hopes to make it even bigger! Our Grand Prize winner of $25,000 was Mr. Joseph Dillhoff. Additional cash winners included Ms. Tessie Hayden ($5,000) and five $1,000 winners that included Ms. Irene Moore, Mr. Ken Schutte, Mr. Charles Kelly, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Albers and Mr. JP Verkamp.
