CINCINNATI - Xavier University announced today, July 28, 2009, tickets for the 2009 volleyball and men’s and women’s soccer home games are now available for purchase.
Single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.GoXavier.com, by returning the order form available online, or in person at the Cintas Center Ticket Office. Adult tickets are $5, while youth tickets (17 and under) are $3. Group tickets (15 or more) are available for $3 per person. Tickets will also be available August 17 via Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or over the phone at (800) 745-3000.
In addition, Xavier Athletics is also offering the Xavier Gold Card. Members receive 10 adult admissions to any Xavier home athletic event during the 2009-10 regular season (excluding men's basketball games and the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship). The Gold Card is ONLY $30, and is a significant savings off individual game adult ticket prices. For more information, click here.
The volleyball team begins its 2009 home campaign by hosting the Xavier Invitational Sept. 4-6, which features Michigan, Notre Dame and Tennessee. The rest of the home schedule includes conference matches against LaSalle (Oct. 2), Temple (Oct. 3), St. Louis (Oct. 16), Duquesne (Oct. 17), Dayton (Oct. 30), Fordham (Nov. 6), George Washington (Nov. 13) and Charlotte (Nov. 15).
The men’s soccer team opens its 2009 home campaign with an exhibition match against Rio Grande (Aug. 22). The first regular season home game takes place Sept. 1 when the Musketeers host Radford at 7:30p.m. The rest of the home schedule includes non-conference contests against Detroit (Sept. 18), Kentucky (Sept. 23), Marshall (Sept. 26) and conference games against UMass (Oct. 9), Rhode Island (Oct. 11), Saint Louis (Oct. 30) and Charlotte (Nov. 1).
The women begin their home schedule Aug. 17 with an exhibition match against Ball State. They host their first regular season matchup against Pittsburgh on Sept. 6. The rest of the home schedule features non-conference contests against Butler (Sept. 18) and North Texas (Sept. 20) as well as conference games against George Washington (Sept. 25), Saint Louis (Oct. 9), Charlotte (Oct. 11), UMass (Oct. 23) and Rhode Island (Oct. 25).
