Xavier's women's tennis team has achieved a perfect APR score for the eighth-consecutive year.

CINCINNATI - The Xavier University Athletic Department had 11 of its teams post perfect APR scores during the 2011-12 season and seven of those teams registered perfect scores in the multi-year APR totals.
Baseball, women's cross country, men's and women's golf, women's soccer, men's swimming, men's and women's tennis, women's indoor track, women's outdoor track and volleyball posted an APR of 1000, the highest score possible, for the 2011-12 season.
Last week, seven of those programs - men's and women's tennis, women's cross country, women's golf, women's indoor track, women's outdoor track and volleyball - were honored with the Public Recognition Award, given to the top 10 percent of teams in each sport in NCAA Division I. Throughout the eight-year history of the APR, Xavier has had 55 teams receive the Public Recognition Award.
