CINCINNATI - Xavier University student-athletes partnered up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help raise money for six-year-old Landyn, who suffers from spina bifida and wishes to go to Walt Disney World. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee spearheaded the effort which raised over $5,000 to go to Make-A-Wish and help Landyn's wish come true.

Landyn and his family were in attendance at the men's basketball game against Providence last weekend. Women's golfer Ariel McNair escorted the family through Cintas Center following the game, where Landyn was able to attend the postgame press conference and had an opportunity to meet Matt Stainbrook. Stainbrook, President of SAAC, McNair, Track & Field student-athlete Adrija Taraska and women's soccer player Katie Schweer helped organize the fundraiser.
